ANIMISMA collaboration between Extra City and M HKAAnimism is a long-term exhibition and publication project first presented between 22 January and 2 May 2010 in Antwerp in a collaboration of Extra City Kunsthal Antwerpen and the Museum of Contemporary Art (M HKA). A second version of the exhibition will be shown at Kunsthalle Bern from May till July 2010. Subsequent versions will be developed at the Generali Foundation in Vienna and the House of World Cultures in Berlin in 2011 and 2012, respectively. |

BENJAMIN VERDONCKBetween 3 January 2009 and 2 January 2010, Benjamin Verdonck is performing a hundred actions throughout Antwerp that are associated with special dates in the calendar: the first day of the sales, the national holiday, Mother’s Day, Black Sunday, Palm Sunday, a birthday, and so on. The project is called Calendar and the results can be seen in the form of an intervention at the M HKA in spring 2010. |

AUGUSTE ORTSCorrespondenceAuguste Orts is the production platform set up by the artists Herman Asselberghs, Sven Augustijnen, Manon de Boer and Anouk De Clercq. On the basis of their differing experiences, they conceive and produce art projects in various genres and formats. The first collective exhibition by Auguste Orts came about on the basis of the frequent letters the four members exchanged about their work and contains two installations by each artist. |
