the 11th Antwerp Art Weekend is happening
from 29 May – 01 June 2025!

Contemporary art will once again take over the entire city of Antwerp. We’re looking forward to a stacked program of exhibitions, events, activities, and parties, unfolding in more than 70 locations throughout the city.

Antwerp Art Weekend is set to be legendary, and M HKA will be the beating heart of the action.
As a central location, we’re hosting the explosive kick-off party on Thursday night and presenting a packed programme of exhibitions, performances, and live events.

This event is organised as part of FRONT ROW, a monthly series of artist’s talks jointly organised by M HKA and NICC, screening Cécile B. Evans’ Reality or Not’ (2023), followed by an artist talk.

KASKA students reflect on the contemporary relevance of Hugo Roelandt’s work and present their own ‘re-performances’ in public space during Antwerp Art Weekend.

A guided 90-minute tour through the exhibition, the collection wing, and hidden gems across the museum.

— The Salon

Ongoing during opening hours, with a guide present from 14:00–16:00 (Sundays and school holidays)

A playful and creative space for exploration, with materials and activities inspired by exhibited artworks.
