About the visits
Sonsbeek 2026
Sonsbeek 2026 takes place in Park Sonsbeek in Arnhem. The city provides a platform for new and existing work by eighteen artists from the Netherlands and abroad. The exhibition includes twelve commissioned works, including site-specific installations, sculptures and performances that broaden our view of art in public space.
Kröller-Müller Museum and sculpture garden
More than two hundred modern artworks are displayed throughout the sculpture garden, including works by Aristide Maillol, Jean Dubuffet, Barbara Hepworth and Marta Pan. The garden also contains pavilions by Aldo van Eyck and Gerrit Rietveld.
The Kröller-Müller Museum is the life’s work of Helene Kröller-Müller. Between 1907 and 1922, she and her husband Anton Kröller acquired almost 11,500 works of art. The museum opened in 1938 in a building designed by Belgian architect Henry van de Velde. A wing designed by Dutch architect Wim Quist was added in the 1970s.
