Nicola L. had a strong connection with Belgium, partly because her husband Fred Lanzenberg had a gallery in Brussels. She took part in several important group exhibitions and exhibitions in Belgium. Her largest solo exhibition to date was held in 1976 at the ICC (International Cultural Centre) in Antwerp, the predecessor of today’s Muhka.
Muhka researcher Annosh Urbanke delved into the Belgian archives and brings stories and anecdotes about Nicola’s period in Belgium.
