Join Volle Grond for an evening walk during Muhka LAAT. Explore Zuiderdaken, then sit down to a vegetarian dinner at MuhkaFE.
What if we looked at the city from above?
As evening falls, explore Zuiderdaken, the growing urban vegetable garden on our museum rooftops.
Together, we walk across the rooftops and discover what is possible above our heads.
How can rooftops support biodiversity? Can they play a part in feeding the city? And how can we make our cities places that care for people and nature, as well as places to live?
After the walk, it is time to sit down to eat: MuhkaFE serves a delicious vegetarian meal made with fresh, organic produce sourced through short supply chains. The ingredients come from local farmers in the Volle Grond cooperative. Rather than travelling long distances through the food system, the produce comes from nearby farms with a direct connection to the city.
The evening takes you from museum rooftop to table: from the greenery above our heads to the food on our plates.
