At the exhibition by Pauline Curnier Jardin, there’s not only plenty to see — but also lots to do! In the Salon and the Labo at M HKA, you can experiment, draw, craft, and invent stories — all in the colourful, magical atmosphere of Pauline’s world.

In three chapters and a panel discussion, we explore everything related to the belly — starting from the surface and gradually descending into the depths of intuition.

On the first floor, the Salon offers creative games, imaginative tasks, and adventurous workshops for young explorers and curious families.

At M HKA, we roll out the red carpet for our little guests of honor. Expect guided tours and creative activities designed for children.

Family Tour of the Panamarenko House. Join a guided tour and explore the magical place where Panamarenko created floating cars, flying backpacks, pedal-powered helicopters, airships you could live in, submarines, and flying saucers.

Toddlers explore the museum at their own pace and with all their senses – touching, listening and moving among the artworks. Together with an adult, they go on a playful journey of discovery every second Sunday of the month.

In 2025, we celebrate the Belgian visionary artist and dream engineer Panamarenko (1940–2019), who uniquely merged art and science. Panamarenko85, an initiative of the Panamarenko Foundation, honors this pioneer, innovator, and inspirer with a series of exhibitions, activities, and a new publication.

What to do with your children during the Christmas holidays? Come to the M HKA for a series of creative and unconventional activities.

Children up to 12 years old can enjoy a day of fun at the museum, as this year we are completely Crazy for Art! We’ll be exploring the art of clowning: we’ll play tricks on people while also holding up a mirror to them. On this day, M HKA will also launch its brand new philosophical card game, FiloSpook.

On Saturday 8 June, M HKA kicks off its summer programme with 'The Lives of Animals', a group exhibition that challenges you to look at your relationship with animals in a different way.
