Muhka On the spot brings works from the Muhka collection to galleries and art spaces across Antwerp.

In the spring and summer of 2024, the KMSKA focused on the Antwerp experimental painter Jef Verheyen. From a young age, this postwar artist explored the essence of art and aimed to introduce a new way of seeing.

The exhibition 'Aanwinst' ran in spring 2024 at C-mine Genk, introducing visitors to a selection of contemporary artworks from the impressive collection of the Flemish Community.

‘This Is Us’ united works from the collections of the four leading contemporary art museums in Flanders for the very first time. Framed around the idea of the ‘artistic learning environment’, the exhibition reflected on what these collections say about art, society, and learning today. A unique collaboration between Muhka, S.M.A.K., Mu.ZEE, M Leuven and Z33.

On the occasion of the Kyiv Biennial 2023, Muhka presented Dispatches, a postcard project in collaboration with the Visual Culture Research Center in Kyiv. Twelve artists were invited to design a postcard that circulated as an artistic message of solidarity, both within and beyond the biennial. In a time of conflict, Dispatches offered a tangible and poetic form of connection.
