SHOW UP in Muhka — Onboards Biennale 21

SHOW UP in M HKA presented 22 selected artworks from the inauguration edition of the Onboards Biennale: Show Up/Show-off. The Biennale took place during the summer of ’21, showing the works of 200 contemporary international artists. These artworks were displayed on billboards throughout Antwerp city, accessible to a broad audience day and night for an entire month.

The selection presented by INBOX showed works of artists with diverse artistic practices and conceptual approaches. It represented the creative vision of the participating artists, reflecting on the transformative power of public art and its impact on the urban environment. It also offered a glimpse into the artistic journey of the Onboards Biennale. Alongside the public display of 200 artworks, the Onboards Biennale 21 featured a live broadcasted symposium and weekly performances.
