I Have No Idea What I Am Doing is the starting point for this exhibition. Humour is central to the work, not as an escape, but as a way of approaching uncertainty, doubt and the absurd. Paintings, an installation, neon and video form a whole in which seriousness and lightness constantly coexist.
The exhibition title is not only a name, but also forms part of the installation itself. It appears as text in a sculpture of metal spheres suspended from the ceiling. The title thus becomes a physical part of the space: a statement that hovers between confession, irony and invitation. It reflects an artistic attitude in which not knowing is not a shortcoming, but an open position of experimentation, curiosity and imagination.
