Reflective Orientation Centre
Can we provide healing? A new path for the pathologized ones, orienting in the dark, “attracted by lit-up truths”. Where can a reflective visualisation bring us without underexploring the margins? This centre indeed focuses on the margins, not on itself. Situated in the cyclical moments in between exhibitions—when the space is usually closed— WePaint takes over the wheel. “Only professionals are at work.” We, creative workers paint the exhibitions spaces. Where labour is performed and later deducted; and where all traces of life or action are being removed and neutralized. Because what happens when the art is never to be seen by the public? “Maybe painting the walls white is just enough!”
