Guided tour of the Panamarenko House
Panamarenko began his career in the 1960s and soon gained international recognition. Less well known is that a large part of his oeuvre was created in his own home and studio in Biekorfstraat.
During the guided tour, you move through the rooms where Panamarenko lived and worked for more than thirty years. You will see his studio, his living spaces and the helipad on the roof. This offers a direct insight into the world in which his ideas and works took shape.
“I am not a scientist, nor someone who makes art objects. What matters most to me is that now and then there is a kind of poetry in what I make.”
