Artist Antje Majewski invites you to celebrate the season of harvest! Together with her, we will collectively create a grand apple ornament. The merriment will be supported by musical accompaniment. All the while you can enjoy eating an apple pancake - free while stocks last.

During the DAKkan.festival on Sunday 22 September, the M HKA rooftop is the place to be! With a makers’ market, apple harvest, and a literature festival.

Bring you dog friend to our rooftop terrace to enjoy a special dog friendly concert together. The concert organised at M HKA by the occasion of the exhibition The Lives of Animals is performed for, and with dogs and their human partners.

We are pleased to invite you to an expert tour at the exhibition The Lives of Animals, led by curator Katerina Gregos. The tour will begin with the video work Waiting for the Time to Pass (2021) by Greek filmmaker Janis Rafa, featuring a dog as its protagonist.

Before the summer break, Vedran Kopljar will close the first serie of FRONT ROW with an artist talk sharing a deep dive into his practice and MEAN, his first institutional solo exhibition, currently on view at M HKA.

On Saturday 8 June, M HKA kicks off its summer programme with 'The Lives of Animals', a group exhibition that challenges you to look at your relationship with animals in a different way.

For his participation in the FRONT ROW artist talks programme at M HKA, Halloubi will screen his film work Un après-midi à Larache (2015-2016) about writer and activist Jean Genet, before a conversation on his filmic practice.

Join us on the occasion of the first day of MEAN, Vedran Kopljar's exhibition at M HKA. The artist will introduce his project with a musical performance. 

All feel welcome to join us for this free to attend lecture and talk on the origin of apples, as part of the exhibition Apple. An Introduction (over and over and once again) – Organised by Antje Majewski and Paweł Freisler. 

Walk through The Ties That Bind in company of artist Dennis Tyfus. It is also the last weekend of the exhibition and a great opportunity to discover Shaw's work through the subversive lens of Tyfus, who, like Shaw, speaks out against existing political, or (anti-)social, value structures. And does so in often humorous ways.

Walk through The Ties That Bind in company of artist Aline Bouvy. True to the commitments of her practice, the artist will invite us to look at Jim Shaw’s exhibition from the perspective of diverse forms of cultural practices, feminism and the formation of social norms.
