Every Sunday from 14:00 you can participate in a Walk & Talk. Together with a guide, you visit an exhibition – which will certainly give rise to a good conversation.

What to do with your children during the Christmas holidays? Come to the M HKA for a series of creative and unconventional activities.

Children up to 12 years old can enjoy a day of fun at the museum, as this year we are completely Crazy for Art! We’ll be exploring the art of clowning: we’ll play tricks on people while also holding up a mirror to them. On this day, M HKA will also launch its brand new philosophical card game, FiloSpook.

What does it mean to be on the ‘right’ side of history? Nástio Mosquito inspires us to reflect on the difference between truth and lies, between certainty and clarity. In this context, we invite you to join our Philosophical Café, in the presence of the artist, moderated by philosopher Gideon Hakker. 

This special evening event combines the Belgian premiere of Nástio Mosquito’s film 'When Changing You Mind Gets You Killed' at De Cinema, with a talk by curator Gabi Ngcobo.

Celebrate the opening of a new exhibition season with us. On Thursday evening, 10 October, M HKA will open its doors, free to the public, to kick off the autumn season together. That evening, in the presence of the artists, you can explore a whole new range of exhibitions.

Artist Antje Majewski invites you to celebrate the season of harvest! Together with her, we will collectively create a grand apple ornament. The merriment will be supported by musical accompaniment. All the while you can enjoy eating an apple pancake - free while stocks last.
