On Saturday, February 10th, at 19:00 hrs, internationally renowned artist Jim Shaw will be at The Cinema for a conversation with curator Anne-Claire Schmitz. They will discuss his work and his new solo exhibition, The Ties That Bind.

Thursday night 8 February, M HKA will open its doors free to the public, to celebrate a new season of exhibitions together, in the presence of the artists.

Mash Up - works from 1999 to 2022 is the first comprehensive monographic publication dedicated to the work of London based artist Anthea Hamilton. The book is co-published by M HKA and Triangle Books and follows the artist eponymous survey exhibition held at M HKA in 2022.

Throughout the whole year, M HKA offers yoga sessions every first Sunday of the month.

The war in Ukraine challenged our idea of pacifism. Should Europe take up arms or not? For the M HKA book launch of Passivity, the authors, Ukrainian curator Alexandra Tryanova and Belgian sociologist Pascal Gielen engage in a dialogue.

This Saturday (11:30-12:30), Slavs and Tatars will give a lecture-performance as part of their exhibition at M HKA.

As part of the exhibition She Has Many Names by artist Dora García, M HKA offers a unique performance, screening and activity programme, including a philosophical café, reading sessions and guided tours by experts.

During a one week singing workshop, 12 participants formed a choir-cum-support group. They experimented with building a collective song, inspired by rituals, personal stories, club culture and feminist theories.

As part of the exhibition She Has Many Names by Dora García, two publications will be presented on Saturday 20 May.
