Board of Directors of Muhka

The governing body of Muhka helps set the museum’s course. Together with the management, it safeguards the broader direction: where the museum is heading, which choices that entails, and how we can realise those ambitions sustainably and carefully.

The governing body is responsible for the museum’s strategic policy. Among other things, it approves policy plans and budgets, monitors operations, and ensures that the museum is organised transparently and responsibly.

In the coming years, Muhka will be in a transition process towards a renewed way of working. In that movement, the governing body plays an important role as a sounding board and as the body ultimately responsible for the museum’s long-term vision.
